Besan Ghatia

Besan Gathia is a hugely popular, deep-fried savory snack, originating from the western regions of India, particularly Gujarat. It is instantly recognizable for its thick, soft, and slightly spongy texture, making it distinct from the finer Sev. Gathia is made primarily from gram flour (besan) dough, which is generously seasoned with aromatic spices like carom seeds (ajwain), and sometimes black pepper and turmeric.
